Elkin Cortez is an interdisciplinary visual and graphic artist. He graduated with a BFA in Visual Arts from Texas A&M International University. Elkin has exhibited at multiple group show exhibitions in McAllen, TX, Laredo, TX, and México.
RECREATIVO explores surreal paintings, drawings, and video work reflecting on the artist's career and the artist's fascination with exploring different mediums. This show also honors the Mexican connection and history with surrealism while putting it on a contemporary lens, a first of its kind in the northern area of Mexico.
